How to Dab with an E-Nectar Collector
- Turn on the device
- Select your desired temperature setting
- Allow 10-30 seconds for the tip to reach desired temperature. (Time will vary depending upon the e-nectar collector)
- While inhaling, run the E-Nectar Collector tip along the edge of the concentrate, making sure never to dip the tip directly into the concentrate.
- Remove the tip from the concentrate prior to the heating cycle ending, to prevent wasting any concentrate which has not been fully vaporized.
- You may consider running another cycle to ensure full consumption of any concentrate on the coil, or as a cleaning cycle to vaporize any excess concentrate.
E-Nectar Collectors offer not only a more convenient way to dab but are also extremely portable and clean. All you need with you is your device and a glass or silicone jar filled with your concentrates. To use, simply turn on your device, adjust it to your desired temperature, engage the heating cycle allowing 10-30 seconds for the coil to heat up, and begin dabbing. When dabbing it is always recommended to slightly touch the edge of the concentrates with the coil tip, never dipping it into concentrate. Understand when the heating cycle will end and be sure to remove the tip from the concentrate a few seconds before to fully vaporize whatever material may be on the coil. You may engage a second heating cycle to finish that material, have another session, or clean the coil from the excess concentrate. If you are looking for a hot temp experience, allow the device to heat for 30 seconds only dabbing towards the end to create the hottest tip temp and largest cloud. Keeping the tip clean will help maintain the taste of your experience.
Difference in Joint Sizes 10/14/18mm
There are a few specifications you can garner from a pipes joint size…
- 10mm - Typically, when you are using a 10mm joint you will be working with a smaller pipe with less water filtration and airflow. These are predominately used for concentrates to enable smaller smoother inhales.
- 14mm -The 14mm joint sizes are the most common, they are typically found in a range of heights and percolator set ups, while offering more water filtration options than smaller 10mm pipes.
- 18mm-19mm - This joint size (18mm) is traditionally reserved for those with “lifeguard lungs”, who can consume larger inhales, the pipes are typically much larger in size sometimes up to 6 ft. while offering the most water filtration.
To put it simply it's the straw concept. Think of using any coffee straw verses using a large milkshake straw, soda straw. With one you can inhale a large amount the other would be more constricted. Some people would prefer the more constraint straw e.g. the “coffee straw” (10mm).
Compatible with:
- Nail : 14mm Nectar Collector Nail - not threaded options
- Pipes: 14mm nectar collector
Quick Tip
High temp Vs Low Temp - Just because you can take these devices upwards of 900 degrees doesn't mean you would want to nor is it advised. Many dabbers have a "sweet spot", referring to the temperature at which the flavor, potency and vapor quality are all completely in line with the user's preferences. Each dabber's sweet spot is unique based on what it is that they want out of their dabbing experience. Using a torch to heat your nail means that finding your sweet spot can be a hit or miss, as it's hard to memorize exactly how you applied the torch to get that quality experience. With an enail, you can keep the setting that you like so that you always find that sweet spot with each pull of vapor that you take.
