Let's take a quick look at the Headbanger by Airis, this device can be used both as an electric nectar collector and a dab pen.

I'll keep it real, when I first saw this thing I immediately thought --- Huni Badger. The Headbanger much like the Huni Badger features the same sleek, square like body and tip cap/storage jar concept. The tip cover, for the electric nectar collector portion of this device, is magnetic and contains a small pot for storing concentrates (also known as the Huni Pot on the Huni Badger). This design makes it super simple when dabbing on the go since everything is compactly stored in one place.

Now, let's check out the things that sets the Headbanger apart from the Huni Badger. The Airis Headbanger features a built in glass bubbler tube offering the option of water filtration without a big bulky attachment placed onto your device, making this guy a little more portable when used with water. The water bubbler tube allows for cooler, more filtered vapors when it comes to using this device e-nectar collector style and also while using it as a dab pen. Water filtration combats the harshness that comes with consuming concentrates, depending on how big your dab is, it may not mitigate it completely but filtration will tone it down to where it's more bearable on your throat and lungs!

Another thing we briefly touched on is the fact that you can use the Headbanger as a dab pen as well. The dab pen style reminded me of the Airis Dabble, what makes them similar is the way the coil sits on the device, which is inside of the glass tube. For some this might be a bit of a pain to remove the glass tube every time you'd like to load it. However, the Aris Q2 atomizer allows you to pack in large amounts of concentrates at once so you don't have to continue loading as often as you would with a traditional dab pen.

Which brings us to coil construction of the two coils that come within this kit. The Airis Q2 Coil features a standard atomizer design, and the Airis Q1 features a standard electric nectar collector coil design. They are both also made up of crushed quartz, however, Airis has implemented a different way to heat up the quartz to temperature. They accomplished this by embedding the heating element (metal wire) INTO the quartz instead of leaving it exposed. This heating method actually diminishes the chance of burning through your concentrates instead of vaporizing them, which ultimately minimizes waste!

Maintaining a Nectar Collector

Once you’ve gotten the hang of operating a nectar collector, whether it be electric or manual, you’ll need to maintain it. Ultimately, cleaning it after each use will keep the actual cleaning process simple, fast, and efficient, but if you can’t do that, try to clean it after each third or fourth use.

Cleaning a nectar collector is rather straightforward via two methods:

• Over-saturating the coil will decrease the coils vaporization rate (decreasing the cloud size). It is always recommended to slightly touch the edge of the concentrates with the coil tip, never dipping it into concentrate. Doing a cleaning cycle, will prevent gunking of your coil while increasing the lifespan and taste.
• Ideally after every use, by the end of the second cycle (a frequent clean method) no vapor should be rising from the coil, meaning there are no excess concentrates remaining. This can be done by waiting for optimal heating temp of the device to consume the appropriate amount based on the coils vaporization rate then running a second cycle after with little to no additional concentrates touching the coil.
• To clean your e-nectar collector, soak a long cotton swab in our Formula 710 Cleaning Solution then clean the airway of your device to remove any remaining reclaim.

Proper Storage of your nectar collector will elongate your products lifespan. Some coils and devices are more fragile than others, keeping your device in a safe case is recommended. So, find a safe spot to store your nectar collector where it will not risk breaking.
