If you take a closer look you'll see that the coil paired with the Seahorse Pro Plus is now a straw-like Quartz Tube Tip Coil, it features a clear quartz layer encircling a crushed quartz bottom, with two metal rods on the inside running parallel to each other down into the crushed quartz. The Seahorse Coil V's style and construction allows for the smoothest, cleanest, most evenly heated dab imaginable. The clear quartz layers' main function is to provide a larger heated surface area for those massive dabs, allowing for an increased consumption of concentrates, and a bigger airway for creating those huge clouds you may be looking for. The heating elements are not exposed because they are located on the inside of the clear quartz tube mitigating the chance of burning through your concentrates instead of vaporizing them.

The Seahorse V Quartz Tube Coil is designed specifically as a "see through" coil, the clear quartz provides a front row seat to observe your vaporization and saturation rate for a more efficient and accurate dab experience.

The two things advised to look out for is:

Reclaim - If you see an excess of oil pooling inside the coil, that means you may be attempting to vaporize too much concentrates for the temperature setting you are using, therefore you should adjust the temperature accordingly. If your device is already at max temp, then you should try to utilize a smaller amount of concentrates per session. 

NOTE: You should NEVER directly DIP your coil into your concentrates. Direct dipping will most likely cause your coil to clog, or it can potentially damage your coil resulting in the need of a new one almost immediately. You should ALWAYS slightly "edge" your coil around the outer portion of your concentrates. 

Cloud Stream - If the cloud stream running through the coil into the airpath appears to be too thin, that means, you may not be saturating the coil enough with the proper amount of concentrates for the temperature setting you have your device set to. Therefore you should probably use a lower temperature setting, or use more concentrates.

Vaporization rate and saturation of a coil go hand in hand with each other, paying attention to these two details will help you achieve a "perfect dab" every time.

Quick Tip:

To ensure the quartz tip lasts as long as possible, make sure you fully burn all the concentrates off of  the tip after each dab. If you leave concentrates on the tip or inside the airways it will gunk up and possibly ruin or wear out your coil prematurely. 

Don't clean the quartz tip with the cleaning brush or any liquids/solvents, as this can damage the tip.

Maintaining a Nectar Collector

Once you’ve gotten the hang of operating a nectar collector, whether it be electric or manual, you’ll need to maintain it. Ultimately, cleaning it after each use will keep the actual cleaning process simple, fast, and efficient, but if you can’t do that, try to clean it after each third or fourth use.

Cleaning an e-nectar collector is rather straightforward via two methods:

• Over-saturating the coil will decrease the coils vaporization rate (decreasing the cloud size). It is always recommended to slightly touch the edge of the concentrates with the coil tip, never dipping it into concentrate.
• Ideally after each session you may want to run a cleaning cycle, this will prevent gunking of your coil while increasing the lifespan and taste. A cleaning cycle (a frequent clean method) is done by running your device to its max temperature until there is no vapor rising from the coil, meaning the is no excess concentrates remaining on it or in it.
• To clean your e-nectar collector, soak a long cotton swab  in our Formula 710 Cleaning Solution or any other cleaning solution then clean the airway of your device to remove any remaining reclaim.

Proper Storage of your nectar collector will elongate your products lifespan. Some coils and devices are more fragile than others, keeping your device in a safe case is recommended. So, find a safe spot to store your nectar collector where it will not risk breaking.
