Focus V released yet another Carta 2 accessory to add to an even more elevated dab experience, called the Saber.

The Saber is a smart electric dab tool, also known as a hot knife, featuring a high quality ceramic blade connected to a variable voltage battery by a super reliable twist lock mechanism. The twist lock makes makes it quick and easy to swap out the tip when its time for a replacement and the locking portion helps keep your tip in place when in use, when compared to other magnetic options.

The Focus V Saber's battery operates on three different power settings making this tool extremely versatile. The lowest setting can be used for cutting and forming, the medium setting is ideal for normal use, and the highest setting is fit to handle larger amounts of concentrates or wax materials with a thicker consistency that are harder to maneuver.

This smart electric dabber is equipped with an LED spotlight at the base of the tip, that can be turned on and off with 3 clicks, giving the user a clear view of their concentrates in dimmer surroundings. The Saber dab tool is charged through a usb-c charging port located on its lower half of the battery. This electric dab tool sports an intuitive, comfortable, elegant design featuring a single button for ease of use.

Focus V Saber Dab Knife

When I saw the promos for the Saber Knife, I couldn't wait to get my hands on one! Concentrates are so much more economical, but as we all know, they can be messy! I'd purchased the cheap pen attachment from OOZE but was far from impressed, especially with the increase in vape pens which are only breath-activated (so no power button to heat up the blade on the OOZE attachment, NO BUENO!). The Saber is packaged well and it appears to be well-made, based on the short amount of time I've had it and been using it. Basic operation of the device is as represented and simple... 2 clicks to adjust the power (or heat level of the knife), 3 clicks to turn the front LED on or off, and 4 clicks to display battery level. The replaceable blade tip twists on/off easily. In my opinion, the Saber falls down in two respects: 1) The knife blade is ceramic. While I recognize this is an improvement over beta knifes of old, it could/should be silicone. Too often product begins to vaporize - EVEN ON THE LOWEST HEAT SETTING! - on the blade prior to fully dropping off into your bowl/chamber. Now, I can hear the product designers of the Saber already whining, "But you aren't losing THAT much product!" And you know what? They are correct. It may not be all that much. But as I see it, I purchase a device such as this to not waste ANY product. 2) I ABSOLUTELY love the LED lamp up front! Brilliant idea which none others out there have yet to mimic!! However, they only placed the light on one side of the barrel, leaving half your viewing site unlit. While not a massive issue, it just seems to be if you are going to do something inventive like this, why not do it right! Last but not least, as a tax-paying, American-born citizen of these United States, I am disappointed to read the words on the box "Assembled in China". Given the clear and present threat China and the CCP is and has been to our nation and to the lives and safety of our families, it is appalling any U.S. companies are still allowed to offshore ANYTHING to this despotic land is nothing short of criminal.
