The Lookah Swordfish is the newest edition to the long list of Lookah products.

Now you may ask, what makes the Swordfish so special?

Well, this is actually their first dab pen released (that isn't part of a 3-in-1 eg. the Seahorse X Wax Kit)! We're excited to check out the features they've integrated into this guy so let's take a dive in.

Let's start with the construction, at first glance the Swordfish looks to be super portable, it stands at about 4.5 inches high and fits in your hand comfortably. There is a cylindrical glass mouthpiece that points straight upwards giving the device a resemblance to a swordfish. The most efficient and key feature of the Lookah Swordfish is the hinged mouthpiece which easily swings open for quick, effortless loading of your waxy concentrates. One of the most unappealing things about dab pens is the loading process, however the clamshell bracket integrated into the Lookah Swordfish allows for easy access to the atomizer, once loaded, the bracket snaps back and the mouthpiece is secured in place by a magnetic connection. We love to see that Lookah designed the Swordfish for dabbers who like to stay medicated throughout the day in mind, without having to sacrifice portability and convenience. Theres even a slot at the bottom base for dab tool storage! What more can you ask for!

The Lookah Swordfish uses a 710 connection, which we previously saw with the release of the Lookah Seahorse X, making the coils that come with each compatible. There are currently 3 different types of atomizer options to choose from labeled as Type A, Type B, and Type C. They all are made of crushed quartz but we hope to see a ceramic version soon. Heres a brief explanation of each:

• Type A Coil - Features a large round surface area for bigger dabs or for more evenly heated smaller dabs, and 360 air flow for large more thin clouds.
• Type B Coil - Features two small holes at the bottom to expose more heat for higher temperature dabs and quick heating times, resulting in milkier white clouds.
• Type C Coil - Features an airflow hole across the side for steady airflow and a smaller square surface area to get the most out of your concentrates, this atomizer is considered to be "wax saving".

Lastly, we'll cover the Swordfish operation and features, this device is a standard 5 button clicks to power on and off, 2 clicks to switch through the three preset temperature settings, and there is also a preheat mode. Upon powering on the device the preheat mode is automatically activated and is indicated by a sequence of flashing lights. Once preheated you can adjust the temperature settings to your preference, the lower temperature settings will preserve terps and flavor in your crumble, shatter, or terp sauce, while the higher settings will get you those massive rips you might be looking for. The Lookah Swordfish contains a 950mAh integrated battery that is charged through a USB-C charging port for faster charge times and an auto shut off after 5 minutes of idling, all contributing to its outstanding battery life. All-in-all this pocket sized dab pen is a great buy, we cant wait to see what Lookah is going to come out with next!

Quick Tip:​

Tip #1: Clean It Regularly

All devices require some level of regular maintenance to keep functioning properly, and Wax Pens are no exception. You’ll want to clean the top of the tank at least once a week, and as often as after each use. Simply remove it from the rest of the kit and soak it in a cleaning solution, or you can use a cleaning solution and q-tips to dissolve gunk and debris that can clog the airflow and negatively impact the flavor. Allow it to fully dry before reattaching it to your device. Also, you may need to wipe down the chassis of the device and the connectors from time to time so that no gunk or debris gets into the power button or gets onto the battery connections.
