A Dab Rig is a water filtration device specifically designed to filter dab vapors. A dab rig's main function is to lessen the harshness of your hot dab vapors. The water contained by your dab rig's bottom chamber is pulled through its percolator as you inhale, mixing your vapors throughout the water cooling it slightly.

This slight cooling stops you from inhaling oil vapor that is heated to extremely high temperatures which can cause a burning sensation or a harsh dabbing session.

Cleaning a dab rig is pretty straightforward, you would want to start by removing all pieces from your dab rig and pouring out the dirty water. For dab rigs that aren't super dirty you can get away with pouring a mixture of alcohol salt and water inside your rig, give it a rigorous shake and rinse with water.

For more intense cleaning of an extra dirty rig you might want to use a soak and rinse solution. Pour the solution into your rig and allow it to soak for a few hours to loosen up some of the gunk/build up inside. Once most of it is loosened up you can pour out the solution and rinse well with water.

If there is any sort of build up inside your mouthpiece or the joint connection of your dab rig you can use a cleaning brush or pipe cleaner dipped in cleaner.

A Dab Rig cannot be used on its own without the use of a dab nail or quartz banger. You should start by filling your dab rig with water, make sure that you aren't using too much or too little water. It is best to fill your rig with water so that the water exceeds the percolator by a few millimeters. You can check if the water level is good by dry inhaling.

If you're getting water in your mouth, pour some water out, if your percolator is barely functioning then add more water.

After your dab rig is filled to your liking you can connect your quartz banger or dab nail to the joint of your dab rig. At this point you can heat your nail or banger with either your torch or enail. Once heated to temperature add your concentrates to the inside of your dab nail or banger, place your carb cap on top, and start inhaling from your dab rig mouthpiece! Enjoy!
