Nectar Collector Enails

A Nectar Collector enail is a regular nectar collector with a custom titanium tip and enail coil. The beauty of this enail kit is the precise temperature control using an enail controller box. Nectar Collector Enails function as all-in-one electric dab nail kits that don't require a dab rig. Nectar collectors, also called dab straws, are a lot more portable than standard enail dab rigs.

They also require less mobility, since you are touching the heated tip to your concentrates. Instead of loading a dab tool, dropping it into a quartz banger and using a carb cap or torch. This is also why nectar collectors are the most efficient form of dabbing.

Filling a Nectar Collector Bubbler:

Filling a nectar collector is pretty straightforward and simple, first locate the percolator inside your nectar collector. Then turn the bubbler upside down and fill it until the water is just above the perc. You can test the resistance by inhaling through the mouthpiece.

If you feel like your inhales are a little labored, or you’re getting some water in your mouth, remove some water. If you feel like the perc isn't making enough bubbles then add more water.

Setting Up a Nectar Collector Enail:

Setting up a nectar collector enail might seem confusing initially since it's different from a regular enail. We'll guide you step-by-step to ensure you install all parts correctly!

• Step 1. Remove your enail controller with the power cord from the box. Connect the power cord to the controller and plug it into a wall outlet. Do not plug an electronic nail into a power strip.
• Step 2. Connect your enail coil to the enail controller.
• Step 3. Locate the titanium nail included in your kit. The domed bottom will unscrew from the titanium nail. Unscrew the domed piece of the tip and slide your enail coil over the nail.
• Step 4. Screw the domed piece back onto the nail to hold your enail coil in place.
• Step 5. Fill your nectar collector with water if it is designed for water use.
• Step 6. Connect your nectar collector glass to the nail and secure the nail to the glass by using a keck clip.

After the initial setup, turn on your enail controller box. Then choose your desired temperature using the up and down arrows. The temperature on the controller should begin to blink while the coil starts heating to temp. Once the coil has reached temp, wait 30-60 seconds, then you may start dabbing.

The process of dabbing with an enail nectar collector has somewhat of a learning curve. You shouldn't dunk your nail into your concentrates, the best method is what we like to call "edging".

This is when you gently touch the edge of the nectar collector nail to the concentrates. As it melts, the vapor from your dab gets drawn into the opening of the titanium dab nail.

Avoid saturating the hole of the titanium nail completely with concentrates. Touch only a small part of your dab with the nail, then drag it away to let the right amount vaporize. Repeat this process until satisfied with your dab.

Dabbing temps with a nectar collector are similar to that of a titanium enail. For low temp dabs try somewhere between 420-475 Fahrenheit, Mid Temp 475-525 and High Temp 525-600. Lower temp dabs offer more flavor while higher temp dabs offer larger cloud size. If you are unsure what you would prefer, start at 450 then work your way up or down by intervals of 10 degrees.

Using an enail nectar collector requires some practice. Avoid submerging your nail directly into the concentrates. Gently touch the edge of the nectar collector nail to them instead. As your dab melts, the vapors draw into the opening of your titanium dab nail.

Dunking your titanium nail will cause it to clog easily. The opening of a titanium nail is meant to have open airflow! Allowing vapor to travel through the nectar collector and up to the mouthpiece. The opening is not a dabbing surface, just the sides are!

The ultimate dabbing equation is the dab nail vaporization rate versus. saturation rate. The perfect balance produces the most sweet, milky, smooth, and effective dab. Over-saturating the nail will not release enough vapor, while overheating it will burn the dab.

Once you've found that sweet spot, you'll know!

This is when vaporization versus saturation becomes important. The dab nail cools when it touches your dab. The nail section that touches the dab first cools fastest. Changing the area of the nail that the dab is in touch with, as you're dabbing, will keep the vaporization rate as high as possible.

Using a nectar collector enail offers several advantages. Nectar collectors are by far the most efficient way of dabbing for one particular reason. Unlike other dabbing methods where you load and place your dab into the banger, you simply touch the nail to the dab. This means at any point in time during the dab you can decide how much or how little you want.
