Lookah Seahorse Pro Plus Electric Nectar Collector

The Lookah Seahorse Pro Plus is the second generation of the sought-after and loved by many Lookah Seahorse Pro. Although it looks like the Seahorse Pro, this new release is comes with the Lookah Seahorse Quartz Tube Coil, and is now compatible with the newer Lookah Seahorse 2.0 Tube Coils.

The Lookah Seahorse Quartz Tube Tips are straw like tubes made out of clear quartz with a crushed quartz bottom containing the heating element. This updated design helps to diminish the chances of your concentrates coming into contact with the hot wire coil. When your concentrates touch a heated wire it tends to burn your wax instead of vaporizing, resulting in harsher, less flavorful hits. The Lookah Seahorse Pro Plus Quartz Tube Coil delivers a more evenly vaporized dab, they also heat up to higher temperatures, are more durable, and provide a more full flavored experience compared to the Seahorse Quartz and Seahorse Ceramic Coils. Ideally the Seahorse Quartz Tube Tips are meant for those looking for those huge rips without compromising flavor, they are equipped with a larger contact surface area and a larger airway allowing you to take in more vapor creating enormous clouds.

The Seahorse Pro Plus contains a 510 thread coil connection making it compatible with the Seahorse 2.0 Ceramic Tube Tips, the Seahorse IV Quartz Coil, the Seahorse Pro Quartz Coils, and the Seahorse Pro Ceramic, as well as Wax Tanks.

Like its predecessors the Lookah Seahorse Pro Plus Electric Nectar Collector operates on two modes, either automatic or manual, both modes can be used with all three pre-set temperature settings. Automatic mode is when you place your device into preheat mode, following sesh-mode which allows your tip to maintain your desired temperature for up to 30 seconds at a time. We're happy to see that the well known and loved 30 second sesh mode carried over to the new and improved Lookah Seahorse Pro Plus. Manual mode is pretty much self explanatory, just pressing the button waiting for the tip to heat up, and then edging it into your concentrates. This mode is equally as magnificent as automatic, especially for those quick dabs on the go.

The Lookah Seahorse Pro Plus features a magnetic connection for the Tip Cap, although the Tip Cap may seem like an unimportant component, it'll actually save you from potentially damaging your coils or tips! The cap is the added protection for your Seahorse Quartz Tube Tips, it prevents any lint or debris from getting into the tube and can curb your tip from getting damaged incase of a drop. The Seahorse Pro Plus Tip Cap is made out of plastic, be sure to let your device cool before capping it to avoid a melted mess on your coil. The Seahorse Pro Plus also features USB-C charging capabilities for lightning fast charging getting you back to your sesh without missing a beat. Maintaining a Nectar Collector

Once you've gotten the hang of operating a nectar collector, whether it be electric or manual, you'll need to maintain it. Ultimately, cleaning it after each use will keep the actual cleaning process simple, fast, and efficient, but if you can't do that, try to clean it after each third or fourth use.

Cleaning an e-nectar collector is rather straightforward via two methods:

  • Over-saturating the coil will decrease the coils vaporization rate (decreasing the cloud size). It is always recommended to slightly touch the edge of the concentrates with the coil tip, never dipping it into concentrate.
  • Ideally after each session you may want to run a cleaning cycle, this will prevent gunking of your coil while increasing the lifespan and taste. A cleaning cycle (a frequent clean method) is done by running your device to its max temperature until there is no vapor rising from the coil, meaning there are no excess concentrate remaining on it or in it.
  • To clean your e-nectar collector, soak a long cotton swab in our Formula 710 Cleaning Solution or any other cleaning solution then clean the airway of your device to remove any remaining reclaim.

Proper Storage of your nectar collector will elongate your products lifespan. Some coils and devices are more fragile than others, keeping your device in a safe case is recommended. So, find a safe spot to store your nectar collector where it will not risk breaking.

Button Stopped Working

Please try the following steps:

  • 1. Please check if the button can be pressed. It should click when pressed.
  • 2. Press the power button 5 times in quick succession to turn on/off the device. The indicator light should flash white 3 times after.
  • 3. If the indicator light did not flash, please try charging the device.
  • 4. When connected to the USB charging cable, the LED light should be red to indicate charging.
  • 5. After charging, Press the power button 5 times to turn on the device, then press and hold the power button and test if the coil gets hot.

Quartz Tip Not Heating Up

Please try the following steps:

  • 1. Please check the button and make sure you can hear a clicking when pushed in, the LED indicator light should illuminate when turning the device on/off.
  • 2. Unscrew (anticlockwise) and take off the coil, use a Q-tip and some alcohol cleaner to clean out any dirt or residue on the 510 thread end of the coil and the 510 thread hole of the seahorse pro plus.
  • 3. Replace the coil by screwing it (clockwise) into the threaded hole.

Flashing Yellow Light - 5 Times

If the indicator light flashes yellow 5 times when you press the power button then this may indicate an open circuit problem. Sometimes this can happen if the tip or cartridge isn't screwed on correctly or if it is screwed on too tight.

Please try the following steps:

  • 1. Unscrew (anticlockwise) and take off the coil, use a Q-tip and some alcohol cleaner to clean any dirt or residue on the 510 thread end of the coil and the 510 thread hole of the seahorse pro plus.
  • 2. Replace the coil by screwing it (clockwise) into the threaded hole.
  • 3. Turn on the device and test it to see if this resolves the issue.
  • 4. If the indicator light still flashes yellow, please try another new coil.
  • 5. When cleaning the Seahorse Pro Plus be careful not to unscrew the inset screw at the center of the 510 threaded section where the tip/coil attaches to.

If this screw is not securely in place, the vape will register a circuit error when the power button is pressed. Please ensure this screw is tight and secure after cleaning.

Flashing Yellow Light - 10 Times

If the indicator light flashes yellow 10 times when you press the power button then this may indicate an open circuit problem.

The red flashing light indicates low power / low battery.

Please try the following steps:

  • 1. Please charge the device for about 2 hours, the LED indicator light sholuld illuminate red when charging.
  • 2. Press the power button 5 times to turn the device off while charging.
  • 3. After charging, click the button 5 times fast to turn on the device.

Flashing Blue Light

If the indicator light flashes blue when pressing the power button this indicates an overload problem.

  • 1. Unscrew (anticlockwise) and take off the coil, use a Q-tip and some alcohol cleaner to clean any dirt or residue on the 510 thread end of the coil and the 510 thread hole of the seahorse pro plus.
  • 2. If this screw is not securely in place, the vape will register a circuit error when the power button is pressed. Please ensure this screw is tight, and secure after cleaning.
  • 3. Replace the coil by screwing it (clockwise) into the threaded hole.
  • 4. Turn the device on and test to see if this resolves the issue.

I Am Having A Problem With My Coil

The coil is a consumable good and will wear out over time, depending on how often it is used.

  • To ensure the tips last as long as possible, make sure you fully burn all the concentrates off the tip after each dab.
  • If you leave concentrates on the tip or inside the airways it will harden and possibly ruin or wear out the coil prematurely.
  • Please do not insert the cleaning brush into the airway of the coil as this can damage it.
  • If your coil is worn out or broken, please replace it with a new one.

How Do I Use My Seahorse Pro Plus With A Cartridge?

  • 1. To use a 510 cartridge with the Seahorse Pro Plus please ensure you have turned off the Seahorse Pro Plus first and the tip is not hot.
  • 2. Unscrew the tip/coil and then screw on your 510 thread cartridge.
  • 3. You can then turn the device on and vape from the mouthpiece pressing the button as you do so to vaporize the content of your cartridge.

How Do I Clean My Seahorse Pro Plus?

Cleaning the Seahorse Pro Plus is the same as cleaning the Seahorse Pro.

Cleaning Steps:

  • 1. Remove the heating tip/coil.
  • 2. Remove the glass mouthpiece.
  • 3. Use a q-tip or paper towel with some isopropyl alcohol to clean the mouthpiece, then rinse the mouthpiece with warm water and dry.
  • 4. Dip the cleaning brush or a pipe cleaner in a little isopropyl alcohol then insert into the air path and twist to remove the residue in the Seahorse pro plus. Repeat this method again with a little warm water.
  • 5. Use the cleaning brush or a q-tip to clean around the thread on the Seahorse Pro Plus device.
