The Yocan Red Slate Torch is unlike any dab torch on the market. This all new torch lighter features a tray with a silicone liner for dabbing your favorite concentrates with nectar collector or a quartz banger.

The Slate's housing is brushed metal for a trendy, sophisticated look. To preserve its shine, the silicone lining is fitted to the top and is removable and transparent.

Technology Piezo Ignition

The Yocan Slate has a piezo ignition which is more reliable than spark wheel lighters. Piezo ignition employs a small spring-loaded hammer to impact lead zirconium titanate (PZT) instead of wheel sparks. Butane fuel then ignites due to high voltage and electrical current.

Piezo ignition produces virtually instantaneous flames and is more reliable and durable than other ignition technologies. When buying the Slate Dab Torch, just know you're getting a reliable torch lighter that won't fail when you need it most.

Flame Adjustment

This Yocan Torch's adjustable flame setting allows the flame to be modified to match your dabbing needs. It can achieve 2,500 degrees Fahrenheit (1,371 degrees Celsius) rather quickly. Additionally, the flame may reach up to 12 inches away.

When using this torch with a traditional dab rig / quartz banger and a regular nectar collector, you should use the highest temperature available. You can dab directly from your dab jar or scoop cut your dab onto the built-in tray with a dab tool. The flame adjustment's simplicity allows beginners and veterans to dial down their preferred setting to maximize every drop of your wax!

Thermochromic Nozzle

Like other Yocan Red torches, the Slate Dab Torch has a thermochromic nozzle that changes color with temperature. Since the Slate Torch is flat and "slate", you might accidentally contact the nozzle, which makes the thermochromic tip a super useful tool. Based of the color changes of the thermochromic nozzle, you should know what temperature your dab torch is up to. This is also especially useful when timing your dab.

Lastly, the Yocan Slate Torch has a lock and unlock mechanism and a peep hole to inspect its butane tank.
