The top portion functions like a bubbler forcing the water up from the lower beaker, filtering each rip. The Vortex Recycler is paired with an inline perc which sits the bottom as well, this type of perc is shaped like a tube-like structure that contains multiple slits. These slits help to pull the vapor into the filtration chamber maximizing diffusion, the more diffusion created from thousands of various sized bubbles, the more filtration.
