Quick Tip:

The quality of your torch does matter. You must begin with using a jet torch, not a soft flame lighter. The power, number of jets, and fuel capacity all have an impact on the heat up time for your nail. More powerful and precise dab torches will allow for faster heating even with windy conditions. The number of jets can assist in reducing heating time however, the precision and power of each jet is still most important. The fuel capacity/size of your torch will determine how often you will need to refill.
