What are THC Diamonds? Best Temperature for THC Diamonds
If you're a fan of concentrates, whether you're a beginner or an og, you've definitely heard of THC diamonds. The well known and sought out concentrate is usually a two part concoction, thc diamonds dripping in terp sauce. Sounds like a delicious dessert, eh?

The reason why diamonds and sauce has created such a demand is because of its super high potency with the added effects of powerful terpenes, bringing forth a high that is on a different, more enjoyable level.
What Are THC Diamonds?
The name “Diamonds” refers to a crystalized form of thca, often having a clear, white, or amber tinted appearance. At first glance, they look like little gem stones, this attribute led to them being called diamonds. However, this is not the only reason for the name, the way diamonds are created is through a process called “mining”. Pretty clever if you ask me.

How are THC Diamonds Made?
Mining refers to the process of extracting the desirable compounds from flash frozen cannabis, using a closed loop system. From there the solvent used in the extraction process is evaporated over several days. The thca then starts to fuse together with a combination of specific temperatures and added pressure, constructing crystal like configurations which we now know as diamonds. The terpene rich liquid left over is called sauce.

Quick recap here, compounds are extracted from cannabis through an extraction machine and solvent, which is usually butane or propane. The compounds are then separated, thca is (isolated) formed into crystals and the terpenes and other compounds are left over creating a syrupy/liquid consistency.
What is THCA? How Is It Different From THC?
Now, the reason why we are calling diamonds THCA and not THC is because in its raw form, diamonds ARE thca, once thca (diamonds) is heated (for example, while dabbing), it then converts into delta-9 thc. Which is the chemical that is responsible for the psychoactive effect of consuming cannabis.

How Do You Consume THC Diamonds?
You can use this type of concentrate in many different applications, you can dab it using a nail and a torch, an enail, or an electric dab rig. You can also sprinkle it on flower! Its important to reiterate that diamonds in their natural form are THCA and not THC, it is best not to consume this type of wax

The ideal way to use thc diamonds is with either an enail or a higher end electric dab rig. These two devices offer precise temperature control which is needed to get your thca up to temperature so that it turns into THC.
Best Temperature for THC Diamonds
The perfect temperature to use for diamonds is around 500-600 degrees F! You can experiment with this temperature and adjust it by increments of 5 until you get your desired dab, but try to keep it under 600 degrees if possible.
Effects of THC Diamonds
This concentrate is super potent as explained previously, ranging anywhere from 95-99% thc compared to flower which is around 15-30%. Diamonds will take you to the moon and back if you're not careful! Haha!

The added terpenes also help to make their effects stronger, however terpenes encourage a more sensory experience. Depending on the active terpenes, the effects can promote relaxation, energy, focus, and even help to relieve pain!
