5 Best Enail Dab Rigs and Enail Bongs | Best Enail Rig
So you got yourself a mighty fine piece of machinery with your powerful enail, now you would like to find the right Dab Rig or Bong to pair with it for the optimal experience. With so many dab rig, bong and water pipe options on the market, it can become confusing as to which option would be best for you.
There are two major factors to consider when looking for the right dab rig for your enail.
- Water Filtration
- Stability
- Joint Angle Style
Water Filtration
In general when dabbing you want to have the least amount of water as possible, to filter but not cool the concentrates. If there is too much water in the dab rig, bong or water pipe you will find the concentrates cooling prior to reaching your mouth. This will cause additional reclaim to form along the walls of the dab rig. So the question is, how can you maximize filtration without cooling the concentrates too much?
The simple answer is a Recycler Rig! Recycler Dab Rigs are specifically engineered to offer maximum filtration with minimal water, making it the perfect pipe for dabbing. Whether it be with a standard torch banger setup.
Mini rigs or Micro Rigs are increasing in popularity, however due to their size, they are rather unstable when an enail coil is attached to them. Which leads us to our next point…
Stability
Having an enail coil attached to a banger or nail adds weight to that portion of the dab rig, causing a change in the pipe's balance. This can result in the dab rig becoming unstable and possibly causing it to tip over.
So what can be done about my rig tipping over?
If you already own a rig or bong that you would like to use with your enail, there are a few options to choose from.
- Turning the banger inwards to change the balancing point can help, but can become complicated.
- Adding a reclaim catcher which is then turned inwards towards the bong can also help with balancing.
- Adding a dropdown reclaim catcher to eliminate the issue entirely.
If you are looking for a new dab rig to pair with your enail you would want to look for the following.
- Size: If the dab rig is too small, (under 6 inches) and is relatively narrow, without using a dropdown reclaim catcher, to create a proper balancing point will be somewhat difficult. Purchasing a recycler rig in the 8-12 inch range is typically more stable and can offer better balance once the nail is attached.
- Weight: If the dab rig is of appropriate weight, the added weight of an enail coil to the banger, will not be enough weight to cause the dab rig to tip over.
- Base: Wider is better! Some dab rigs have a wider base, enhancing stability and making them a great dab rig to pair with an enail for a safe and satisfying solution.
Technically you can use any type of rig or bong for an enail, however safety is paramount. Most dabbers would be best suited with something sturdy and stable. This eliminates the need to remove the coil from the banger after each usage, which can be dangerous as it takes time for the coil to cool down. We do offer coil stands which hold the coil in between dabs, and are perfect when using a dab rig which is too small to balance the additional weight caused by the enail coil, such as a mini rig or micro rig.
Joint Angle Style
Utilizing a dab rig with a 90 degree angle versus one with a 45 degree angle will bring the coil closer to the center of mass of the dab rig, decreasing the opportunity for it to tip over.
Frozen Dab Rig (Glycerin Rig)
Glycerin Dab Rigs have become more popular over the past few years, cooling the air as it passed through the pipe, and the water as it sits inside the pipe. This will allow for less water to be needed, preventing any extra buildup and loss of concentrates within the rig itself.
