Quick Tip:

The quality of your torch does matter. You must begin with using a jet torch, not a soft flame lighter. The power, number of jets, and fuel capacity all have an impact on the heat up time for your nail. More powerful and precise dab torches will allow for faster heating even with windy conditions.
