Beveled Top Quartz Bangers create an air tight seal when using a rounded carb cap, like a bubble cap for example. This airtight seal provided by a beveled top is perfect when you'd want to redirect airflow on the inside of your banger. Directional airflow is important when dabbing, increased airflow from you carb cap is ideal for spinning terp pearls through your melted concentrates, to prevent hot spots, pooling, and to increase vaporization rate. Even when used without terp pearls, a Directional Carb Cap's innovative design, swirls the air throughout the melted waxy materials, pushing and spreading it out on the heated surface for a more evenly vaporized dab experience!

So, you have been using that banger pretty much daily for six months, a year, two years, etc. You use the proper inserts and keep it in overall good shape. Now, you’ve noticed it just isn’t heating up as fast, and heat retention has gone down a bit in the process. It’s still getting the job done, but not as consistently as it should be. Are these signs then it is time to go shopping for a new banger?

Well, there are some simple identifiers that will tell you that you’re better off purchasing a new one.

Identifier #2: Turning Cloudy

“Chazzing” is a term used to refer to a banger having a cloudy appearance due to frequent overheating, this is a fairly common mistake. Constantly overheating left over concentrates causes a burnt on resin to permanently settle into the quartz material, which becomes a harsh grimy surface on the bottom and the sides of your banger. A Chazzed banger will ultimately change the flavor of your future dabs.
